For your added convenience, the property is equipped with a washing machine, as well as all-inclusive bills. Several pianos, including a

are available for your enjoyment.

The room features simple, stylish IKEA furnishings, including a comfortable single bed, a spacious wardrobe for storing your clothing.

A desk for you to work at a spacious window allows for ample natural lighting- and ventilation opportunities on nice, warm days.

The property is located just across the Berlin-Brandenburg border, in Blankenfelde-Mahlow.

On the other side of the border, Berlin-Lichtenrade will welcome you to the capital city. Lichtenrade is the southernmost part of the southern district of Berlin-Tempelhof.

Tempelhof was home to one of Berlin's three airports, Flughafen Tempelhof (Tempelhof Airport).

Originally built in 1927, Tempelhof was one of the first commercial airports in the world, and its old terminal was the first in the world to feature connection with an underground railway station.

The airport gained additional fame when it became the center of the Berlin Airlift during the Cold War; this would cause the local metro station and square to be named "Platz der Luftbrücke" (Square of the Air Bridge).

After its closure in 2008, the former airport became a free public park in May of 2010. Now renamed Tempelhofer Feld (Tempelhof Field), the park is used by locals for various free-time activities such as cycling, running, kiting, rollerblading and ball sports. One can also rent go-karts and Segways, or just have a picnic on the vast lawn.

Other worthwhile destinations in Tempelhof include the Volkspark Mariendorf, the impressive Ullsteinhaus, a product of artistic brick expressionism, and the Trabrennbahn Mariendorf (Harness Racing Track Mariendorf).
